LEHAKOE RECREATION AND CULTURAL CENTRE (LRCC)
Applications are invited from suitably
qualified Lesotho nationals to fill the position of
General Manager at the Lehakoe Recreation and
Cultural Centre (LRCC) of the Central Bank of
Lesotho. This is a senior management position at the
Head of Department level at the Bank. The successful
candidate shall be appointed on a five-year
fixed-term contract.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting directly to the Governor, the
General Manager will be responsible for the
following:

- Effective planning, organization and management of the
day-to-day activities and operations of the
Lehakoe Recreation and Cultural Centre.

Ensure that the Centre’s buildings, facilities, equipment and
all other assets for use by the Bank staff and
members of the public are properly maintained
and always in good working condition that
preserves the integrity of the Centre.

- Set short, medium and long terms goals and objectives of the
Centre and ensure that they are achieved in a
sustainable manner and within specified
resources and time limits.

- Ensure that the Centre operates within set procedures,
manuals and controls and update them
periodically as needed.

- Set and closely monitor the health and safety standards of
the Centre to ensure wellbeing of the Centre’s
Staff and Membership

- Develop annual plans and operating budget and financial
targets for the Centre, and produce monthly
management and financial reports for the
management of the Bank.

- Plan and implement the procurement activities of the Centre
in accordance with a procurement policy approved
by the Bank.

- Oversee the marketing activities of the Centre and develop
and implement strategies for generating
sufficient revenues for the Centre to be self
sustaining;

- Oversee the supervision of staff in accordance with Human
Resources Policies, Rules and Regulations
approved by the Bank
Qualifications

Masters Degree in Business Administration or
Management or equivalent qualification.

A
Post Graduate Degree in Commerce and Computer
Literacy will be an added advantage.
Experience
- Candidates must have ten (10) years relevant experience, five
of which should have been in a senior managerial
position.

Experience in wellness and/or hospitality industry will be an
added advantage.
