Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of Security Officer II in the Security Services Division of the Central Bank of Lesotho.  Female candidates will be given priority.  Successful candidate will be employed on a five-year contract.

Reporting directly to Security Officer I, the incumbent will carry out the following duties and responsibilities:

-           Operate the security and safety systems

-           Ensure a secure and safe environment

-           Prompt and friendly handling of staff and visitors

-           Maintain discipline and image of the Security Division at all times

Qualifications

-           Certificate/Diploma in the security related field  OR

-           COSC with credit in English

-           Computer literacy will be an added advantage.

Requisite Skills

-           Basic knowledge in safety management

-           Fire – fighting

-           Weapon handling

-           Valid driver’s license

-           People skills
