Applications are invited from
suitably qualified Lesotho Nationals to fill the
position of Head, Treasury Operations Division, in
the Financial Markets Department at the Central Bank
of Lesotho.
Reporting directly to Director
Financial Markets, the Incumbent will perform the
following responsibilities and duties:

Ensure adherence by the Division
to operational procedures manuals.

Supervision of Treasury
Operations Division staff.
-
Checking and presentation of
quarterly Divisional reports, and monthly and
quarterly budget monitoring reports.

Taking stock of all incoming
SWIFT messages.
-
Signing of cheques for redemption
and premature disinvestments.
-
Participation in standing
committees of the Bank.
-
Ensuring that staff contracts and
performance appraisal reports are prepared.
Qualifications
MBA/CA/CIA/CIMA plus seven (7)
years experience in financial management or
closely related field, three (3) of which must
have been at senior managerial level.
Other Requirements

Knowledge and use of Microsoft
Office, specifically Excel

Good interpersonal skills and the
ability to work under pressure.

Preparedness to work beyond
normal hours and weekends.
