JOB OPPORTUNITIES - Verifications Officer (Financial Markets Department)

Applications are invited from suitably qualified Lesotho Nationals to fill the position of Verifications Officer in the Risk Assessment and Verifications Section of the Financial Markets Department at the Central Bank of Lesotho.

Responsibilities

Reporting directly to Section Head, Risk and Verifications Section, the incumbent will perform the following duties and responsibilities:

 

1.       Ensure that Midas environment is adequate, efficient and that accounting entries are correctly prepared.

2.       Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations.

3.       Attend to queries raised by counter parties and initiated by the Bank.

4.       Obtain certificates of year - end balances from counter parties.

5.       File all statements, reports and correspondence relating to the section whenever available.

6.       Perform specific tasks that may be assigned through the annual work programme.

 

Qualifications:

B. Com Accounting

Computer literacy is essential.
