 LEHAKOE CULTURAL & RECREATIONAL CENTRE
The Central Bank of Lesotho has constructed an immovable property known as the Lehakoe Recreation & Cultural Centre for use by its staff and the public. This is the first centre of its kind in the country. The Centre has three main functions:


Sports Centre

The Sports Centre consists of: the gymnasium area, aerobics hall, two saunas, two squash courts, two swimming pools, two tennis courts, a basket ball court, a volley ball court, a netball court and a multipurpose hall.

Club House

The Club House has various types of indoor games, three bars, TV room, library and the executive lounge.

Cafeteria

The cafeteria consists of a kitchen and two dining rooms.

The Centre also has a Cultural Hut for the display of cultural artifacts

Lehakoe Recreation & Cultural Centre was inaugurated by the Prime Minister, Mr Pakalitha Mosisili in November 2003. Operations commenced in August 2004, and for the day-to-day running, Lehakoe is managed by the Facilities Management Company (FMC). Membership is open to all Basotho and non-Basotho, and there are different types of membership.
