The public will recall that on 27 November 2007 the
High Court in Maseru authorised an investigation in
order to establish, amongst other things, the
identities of all persons who have invested money
with Millennium Goal Society, and the amount of such
investments. It will also be recalled that on the
19th May, 2008, the Court further ruled
or directed that the CBL should publish the record
of its findings in order to give the investors an
opportunity to verify their names and amounts.
The public is therefore notified that the Central
Bank of Lesotho, through PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC)
has prepared a record of the names of investors,
according to the records of Millennium Goal Society,
together with the amount of their investments.
At this stage, Investors in Millennium Goal Society
will be given an opportunity to verify that their
investments have been accurately recorded. This is
done to ensure that the rights of investors are
protected in the event of the Court ordering that
the investors should be paid from the funds which
Millennium Goal Society have available.
Investors are therefore invited to present
themselves to PriceWaterHouseCoopers (PwC) at any
one of the following venues on the dates detailed
below, in order to verify their claims on names and
values:

They will be required to hand over to PwC an
original document evidencing the investment and
original receipts relating to all payments made by
them to Millennium Goal Society.
They will also be required to supply PwC with proof
of their identity (using the normal means of
identification which include the passport, drivers
license, etc.) and their bank details, including the
name of the Bank, the name of the branch, the
account name and the account number.
Investors will be given a receipt for all documents
which they hand over to PwC. Since it will not be
possible to provide investors with copies of their
original documents, those who require copies must
make their own copies in advance.
