The Central Bank of Lesotho is inviting candidature
from suitably qualified Basotho nationals for the
following key administrative and professional
positions in the operations at The Lehakoe
Recreation and Cultural Centre, Maseru.
1.
ACCOUNTANT
REPORTS TO:
GENERAL MANAGER
Key
Functions:
·
Prepares management
reports on the trading account for General Manager.
·
Oversees the operations
of the Assistant Accountant.
·
Maintains proper books
of accounts and prepare monthly and annual financial
statements for the Centre.
·
Reconciles various
accounts of the Centre on regular basis.
·
Matches purchase orders
to suppliers’ invoices and process payments as
appropriate.
·
Processes staff monthly
payroll in accordance with instructions from the
Human Resources Manager.
Specific Functions:
·
Manages trading account
of the centre and liaise with the Accounts and
Budget divisions at the Bank.
·
Reconciliation of all
account balances with suppliers and customers.
·
Attends to queries as
may arise.
·
Supervision of the
general payment process performed by the Assistant
Accountant.
Qualification:
Either one of the
following:
·
BBA/BA
Accounting or Banking.
·
Bachelor of Commerce.
·
Registered Accountant.
2.
SALES
CONSULTANT
REPORTS TO:
GYMNASIUM MANAGER
Key
Functions:
·
To plan and attract
memberships
·
To service the existing
clientele base and provide requisite monthly
evaluations.
·
To schedule
appointments for members and provide all requisite
forms and contracts.
·
To assist in the
planning and execution of sales/promotional
activities.
·
To assist the Sales and
Marketing Manager to produce sales reports.
Qualification:
·
Diploma or Certificate
in Marketing plus 3-5 years practical experience.
Attributes:
·
Good marketing/sales
acumen.
·
Very good computer
skills.
3.
FLOOR
INSTRUCTOR: (3)
REPORTS TO:
SENIOR FLOOR INSTRUCTOR
Key
Functions:
·
To seek out opportunity
to assist or improve on member's experience and
fitness programs.
·
To communicate exercise
instructions in a positive and motivating manner and
provide constant feedback.
·
To review workout cards
and ensure that the fitness floor is monitored at
all times.
·
To check and maintain
all exercise areas before and after exercise
schedules.
·
To provide first line
maintenance of all equipment in the gym area.
Qualification:
·
C.O.S.C.
with at least a pass in Biology and English Language
·
First Aid training and
application is a prerequisite
·
Certification with
nationally recognized health and fitness training
organizations
Attributes:
·
Ability to remain
standing for long periods of time.
·
Ability to bend, twist,
pull, stretch, strain and lift from 0% to a possible
51%.
·
Be well conversed with
gym programmes and workout schedules.
·
Ability to keep members
motivated and to maintain their exercise
requirement.
4.
RECEPTIONIST
REPORTS TO:
CLUB HOUSE MANAGER
Key
Functions:
·
To monitor and serve
all guests entering and leaving the Club house.
·
To be knowledgeable on
the details of all programmes and services available
to members guests to the Centre.
·
To man the reception,
phones, faxes, bulleting boards and information
racks/desks.
Qualification:
·
Diploma in Secretarial
studies
·
Good computer skills in
MS word and related packages
·
Certificate in customer
care is an added advantage
Attributes:
·
Ability to type.
·
Good book keeping and
communication skills.
·
Ability to communicate
fluently in English and Sesotho.
5.
WAITER
(3)
REPORTS TO:
ASSISTANT RESTAURANT MANAGER
Key
Functions:
·
To serve tables and
take orders.
·
To maintain the general
cleanliness of the restaurants.
·
To assist banqueting
team with laying tables or seating arrangements for
functions.
Qualification:
·
C.O.S.C.
with a pass in English and Sesotho
·
Must have a valid food
handler's qualification from an accredited
institution
Attributes:
·
Must have a good
knowledge of dishes and menus.
·
Ability to stand for
long periods of time.
·
Must demonstrate an
ability to perform under pressure.
5.
CLEANER
REPORTS TO:
SUPERVISOR: CLEANING AND GARDENING SERVICES
Key
Functions:
·
To clean offices in the
centre and surroundings.
·
Keep surroundings clean
and tidy.
·
Ensure that toilets,
change rooms and showers are kept tidy at all times.
Qualification:
·
Form C with a pass in
English Language and Sesotho
·
3-5 years relevant
experience in the same position
Attributes:
·
Ability to maintain a
clean bill of health.
·
Ability to maintain
sober habits.
·
A non smoker.
