About the
Library:
Central Bank of Lesotho Library (CBLL) was established in
May 1990. It is a specialized library within the Central
Bank of Lesotho which contains information on a range of
subjects in particular, banking, finance, management, trade
and statistics, etc.
Library Collection:
The Library resources include journals, periodicals,
monographs (books), annual reports, research reports, videos
and newspapers.
Special Collection:
These include Lesotho Government Gazettes, Law and Financial
reports; International Monetary Fund (IMF) collection; World
Bank collection; Local and Foreign Central Bank
publications.
Arrangement of the library items:
Library materials are arranged according to Dewey Decimal
Classification Scheme and an online catalogue is used to
locate materials in the Library.

CBLL provides the following services to its users:

- Provision
of reading space and study carrels
Membership:
Access to CBLL is limited as it is used by members of
staff. However, selected external users in particular,
economists, accountants, consultants and university students
are permitted to use it.
Opening hours:
Members of CBL staff: 08:00 - 12:45 and 14:00 – 16:30
during working days.
Members of public: 09:00 – 12:30 and 14:30 – 16:00 during
working days.
