The Central Bank of Lesotho invites bids from category “B” or “A” contractors or steel specialist contractors for construction of carports at Lehakoe Recreation and Cultural Centre.

Tender documents are obtainable from Head General Services at CBL on payment of non-refundable fee of M50.00.

Tender Conditions

a.   A compulsory site visit is scheduled for Tuesday, October 3^rd 2006 at 14h30 at the Lehakoe Recreation and Cultural Centre.

b.   Bidders must clearly show, i) delivery period and ii) validity of their bids.

c.   Bids bearing no identification of the bidder in sealed envelopes clearly marked “Bid for the construction of carports at Lehakoe” should be deposited in the tender box located at the reception area of Central Bank of Lesotho at corner Moshoeshoe & Airport Roads no later than 14h30 Friday, October 6^th 2006.

d.   Bids will be opened the same day at 14h30 in the Central Bank Auditorium. Bidder’s or their representatives who wish to attend are welcome.

e.   Certified copies of Ministry of Works contractors certificate, current traders license, Tax clearance certificates must be submitted with the bid.

f.     Bidders are requested to quote in Maloti or Rands only.

g.   Central Bank of Lesotho is not bound to accept the lowest or any bid.

h.   For further clarification bidders are requested to contact the undersigned at telephone 22314281 ext. 2007.

i.    It shall be mandatory for bidders to comply with the Lesotho Labour Code Order, 1992 Part VII ( Health, Safety and Welfare at work)

Bidders are expected to ensure strict compliance with the above conditions, failure to do so will result in the disqualification of their bids.
