The Central Bank of Lesotho invites bids from registered and accredited suppliers to supply File and Application server-(HP proliant DL385 G6). Two in number.

 Tender Conditions

1. Bidders are required to show i) delivery period, ii) validity period of bid, iii) after sales service, and iv) warranty period.  Bidders are however advised that they will be expected to deliver within 30days of order if successful.
2. Bids bearing no identification of the bidder in sealed envelopes clearly marked “File and Application server-(HP proliant DL 385 G6) should be deposited in the tender box located at the reception area of Central bank of Lesotho at corner Moshoeshoe & Airport Roads no later than 14:30hrs on Friday, 16 July, 2010.
3. Bids will be opened the same day at 14:30hrs in the Central Bank Auditorium.  Bidders or their representatives who wish to attend are welcome.
4. Certified copies of current tax clearance Certificate and traders license must be submitted with the proposal.
5. Recent financial statement of the bidder duly signed by an audit firm or practicing chartered accountant.
6. Bidders are requested to quote in Maloti or Rands only and should be inclusive of 14% of Value Added Tax.
7. Central Bank of Lesotho is not bound to accept the lowest or nay bid.
8. Bidders must expressly respond to the specifications as stipulated in the advertisement.

Special Notes:

• Bidders are expected to ensure strict compliance with the above specifications and conditions, failure to do so will result in disqualification of bids.
• All bidders are advised that a Vendor Exclusion Policy shall apply where necessary.
• Bidders are to note that the Central bank of Lesotho shall apply withholding tax obligation when effecting payment.
