The
Central Bank of Lesotho invites bids from registered
electrical contractors for the installation
of phase power supply at the Central Bank of Lesotho
as follows:
1. a)
Supply and install 3phase Computer Distribution
Board (DB) for UPS in the third floor.
b) Supply and
install normal power supply Distribution Board (DB)
in the third floor.
2.
a)
Supply and install new 3 phase cable and separate
earth cables from main computer DB second floor to a
new computer DB in the third floor.
b)
Supply and install cables from the normal DB in the
third floor to the new DB in the three partitioned
areas.
3. Supply
and install cables from the third floor to the 29
poles circuits.
4.
Upgrade the existing computer DB
supply cables.
Tender conditions:
a) Bidders
are invited to a mandatory site inspection at
the Central Bank of Lesotho on Tuesday, 03rd
October, 2006 at 10:00.
b) Bidders
must clearly show i) delivery period, ii) warranty
period, iii) validity of bids and iv) installation
period.
c) Bids
bearing no identification of the bidder in sealed
envelopes clearly marked “Bids for the supply of
power supply” should be deposited in the tender
box located at the reception area of the Central
Bank of Lesotho at corner Moshoeshoe & Airports
Roads no later than 14:30hrs Friday, October 06,
2006.
d) Bids
will be opened the same day at 14:30hrs in the
Central Bank Auditorium. Bidders or their
representatives who wish to attend are welcome.
e) Certified
copies of current trader’s license and Tax clearance
certificate must be submitted with the bid.
f) Bidders
are requested to quote in Maloti or Rand only.
g) Central
Bank of Lesotho is not bound to accept the lowest or
any bid.
h) For

i) Bidders
are advised that during the bid opening, only the
name of the bidders, bid amount and condition (e)
above will be publicly announced.
Bidders are expected to ensure strict compliance
with the above specifications and conditions.
Failure to do so will result in the disqualification
of their bids.
