Tender Conditions:

1. Bids bearing no identification of the bidder in sealed envelopes clearly marked “Supply of three pool vehicles for the Bank” should be deposited in the Tender box located at the reception area of Central Bank of Lesotho at corner Moshoeshoe  & Airport Roads no later than 8 July, 2011.

2. Bids will be opened same day at 14:30hrs in the Central Bank Auditorium.  Bidders or their representatives who wish to attend are welcome.

3. Certified copies of current VAT compliance certificate and traders license must be submitted with the bid.

4. Recent financial statement of the bidder duly signed by an Audit Firm or practicing Charted Accountant must be provided.

5. Bidders are requested to quote in Maloti or Rands only and should be inclusive of 14% Value Added Tax.

6. Central Bank of Lesotho is not bound to accept the lowest or any bid.

7. Bidders must expressly respond to the specifications as stipulated in the advertisement.

8. The Central Bank of Lesotho reserves the right to cancel the tenders before submission/opening of tenders, postpone the tender submission/opening date and to accept/reject any or all tenders without assigning any reasons thereof.

9. Bidders may note that they are liable to be disqualified at any time during tendering process in case any of the information furnished by them is not found to be true.  The decision of the Central Bank of Lesotho in this regard shall be final and binding.

10. The validity of the offer shall be 60 days after the date of opening the bid proposals.

·         Bidders are expected to ensure strict compliance with the above specifications and conditions, failure to do so will result in disqualification of bids.

·         All bidders are advised that a Vendor Exclusion Policy shall apply where necessary.
