The Central Bank of Lesotho hereby invites bids from
local Florists/vendors for the supply and delivery
of fresh flowers arrangements/bouquet weekly for a
period of 12 months for display at various offices
as follows:
Vendors are to note that the Bank may, from time to
time, require additional flower arrangements and the
quoted prices shall be used for the duration of the
contract.

1.
Bidders are advised that the bid
price shall remain fixed for the duration of the
contract for the supply of flowers.
2.
It is imperative that the
quality/quantity of flowers per arrangement
correlate to price.
3.
Arrangements must be of a nature to
remain fresh from Monday to Friday.
4.
Arrangements must be of consistent
high quality and appropriate for their intended
location.
5.
Suppliers will invoice the Bank
weekly, detailing the type and quantity of flowers
supplied.
6.
Bidders may be requested to provide
one (1) week’s supply of flower arrangements as part
of the evaluation process at their own cost.
Tender conditions:
a)
Bidders must clearly show the validity of bids.
b)
Bids bearing no identification of the Bidder must be enclosed
in sealed envelopes clearly marked: “Bid for
fresh flowers”. Bids should be deposited in the
tender box located in the reception area of the
Central Bank of Lesotho situated at corner
Moshoeshoe & Airport roads, no later than 14h30
Friday, July 14, 2006.
c)
Bids will be opened on the same day at 14h30 Auditorium of
the Central Bank of Lesotho. Bidder’s
representatives who wish to attend are welcome.
d)
Bidders are requested to quote in Maloti or Rands only.
e)
The Central Bank of Lesotho is not bound to necessarily
accept the lowest or any bid.
f)
Bids will not be considered unless deposited in the tender
box.
g)

Bidders are expected to ensure strict compliance
with the above specifications and conditions;
failure to do so will result in disqualification of
bids.
