The Central Bank of Lesotho invites bids from
registered category A, B or steel contractors for
the construction of a petrol bowser cover for
the Central Bank of Lesotho.
Bidding documents shall be obtained from the office
of Ms. A. Matela or the undersigned during office
hours at the Central Bank of Lesotho on payment of
non-refundable fee of M50.00 per bid document.
Tender Conditions
a. There
shall be a Mandatory site inspection is
scheduled for Tuesday, March 24, 2009 at 15:30hrs.
b.
Bidders must clearly show, i) contract period and
ii) validity of their bids.
c. Bids
in sealed envelopes bearing no identification of the
bidder, clearly marked “Bid for construction of
petrol bowser cover” should be deposited in the
tender box, located at the reception area of Central
Bank of Lesotho at Corner Moshoeshoe & Airport
Roads, no later than 14h30
Friday, April 10, 2009.
d. Bids
will be opened the same day at 14h30 in the Central
Bank Auditorium. Bidders or their representatives
who wish to attend are welcome.
e. Certified
copies of current traders licence, Ministry of Works
registration certificate, and Tax Clearance
Certificate must be submitted with the bid.
f. Recent
financial statement of the bidder duly signed by an
Audit Firm or practicing Chartered Accountant.
g. Bidders
are to note that the Bank may require a performance
guarantee of no more than 10% of the bid amount
h. Bidders
are requested to quote in Maloti or Rands only.
i. Central
Bank of Lesotho is not bound to accept the lowest or
any bid.
j. For

Special notes
·
Bidders are expected to ensure strict compliance
with the above specifications and conditions,
failure to do so will result in disqualification of
bids.

Bidders are advised that a Vendor Exclusion Policy
shall apply, copies of the policy may be obtained
from the Secretary.
·
Bidders are to note that the Central Bank of Lesotho
may apply Withholding Tax obligation when effecting
payment.
