 Establishment of an Automated Clearing House (ACH)
  • Lesotho is in the process of modernising its payment and settlement system, and the establishment of an Automated Clearing House (ACH) has been identified as one of the main strategies for payment system reform.

 Credit Bureau
  • The Central Bank of Lesotho is establishing a credit bureau. The year 2004 is devoted to a massive public education campaign to clear off any negative perceptions about the service
 Commercial Court
  • The Government of Lesotho has established a commercial court in an effort to expedite the adjudication of commercial cases. The Central Bank of Lesotho has facilitated the acceleration of the establishment of this court. It is believed that the delay in adjudicating commercial cases will be avoided, and thus promote sound financial intermediation.
 Bank Supervision Application
